ABOUTAUDIO ENGINEER / LONDON
Carl Shelley
Carl Shelley is a London-based audio engineer specialising in recording, mixing and mastering, with credits across the UK rap scene.
He started out volunteering at a recording studio at 14, learning the craft from the ground up. Four years later, he moved to London and joined Signature Studios, where he continued developing his skills alongside artists, producers and engineers.
Since then, his work has taken him into sessions with a wide range of UK artists and producers. His approach is straightforward: make the process comfortable and collaborative, pay attention to the details, and help each record sound the way the artist intended.
His credits include work on releases by Lancey Foux, M Huncho, D-Block Europe, Chip, Headie One and Slew, spanning recording sessions through to the final mix and master.
